TRAVEL
PASSPORTS
Passports are required for travel to Aruba for all attendees – it must also have 6 months of validity remaining. If you do not have a passport, we suggest that you apply now as it can take a few months to process. Review the timing and elect to expedite the passport process if you think it will not make it in time.

AIR
Roundtrip coach airfare will be ticketed for you and one guest over the event dates from your home city to Queen Beatrix International Airport in Aruba. Airline reservations will be booked based on the information you provide during the registration process. A detailed flight itinerary will be sent to you to review for accuracy. You are responsible for reviewing this itinerary and emailing back your approval. Once approved, it will be ticketed and confirmed and your final e-ticket will be sent to you via email. At this point, you will be financially responsible for any changes made to the ticket.
AIRPORT ARRIVALS & GROUND TRANSFERS
Please proceed through immigration, collect your luggage at baggage claim and then proceed through customs. Once you have passed customs, please continue outside to locate the transportation host holding a Meineke sign. All guests have scheduled arrival and departure transfers regardless of their date of travel. You will receive a departure notice upon arrival at the resort and registering with the event team.
IMPORTANT FLIGHT REMINDERS
It is recommended that you check-in online or on the airline app the day before you travel in the event there have been any schedule changes. You will need to have your passport to complete online check-in. If you miss a connection or experience any flight changes, please contact Corinne at 704-517-0711 to update your transfers accordingly.

Deep Sea Fishing
Catch your 'beauty of the ocean' and hop aboard a charter to hunt for game fish.
The island allows for the best fishing in the Caribbean. Why? The waters are rich in trophy-sized species. Join a local fishing crew in Aruba on their boat five to seven miles offshore for game fish such as mahi-mahi, bonito, dorado, amberjack, black and yellowfin tuna, barracuda, sailfish, kingfish, blue marlin, and shark. Catch your own and make sure to strike a pose back in the harbor with your unique catch.

WEATHER
Aruba enjoys a warm, dry, and sunny climate year‑round, with very little rainfall thanks to its location outside the hurricane belt. From November to May, the island experiences its peak dry season, offering clear skies, steady trade winds, and average daytime temperatures around 88º. Humidity is typically low, making the warm temperatures feel comfortable.

GMT -4 hours. Atlantic Standard Time. Aruba does not observe Daylight Saving Time.
LANGUAGE
Papiamento and Dutch are the official languages of Aruba. English and Spanish are also widely spoken throughout the island, especially in hospitality and tourism.
CELL PHONE USAGE
International communication from Aruba is simple, but roaming charges can vary significantly. We recommend checking with your cellular provider regarding international plans, rates, and data usage before traveling. Switching to an international plan can help avoid unexpected charges.
ELECTRICITY
Aruba uses 110–130V and 60Hz, the same as the United States. Standard North American plugs (Type A and B) work without an adapter.
CASH & CURRENCY
Aruba's official currency is the Aruban florin (AWG), though U.S. dollars are accepted almost everywhere, including restaurants, shops, and taxis. Credit cards are widely used across the island. Florin banknotes come in denominations of 10, 25, 50, 100, and 200, while coins include 5, 10, 25, and the distinctive square 50‑cent "yotin."
WHAT TO PACK
Bathing Suit: You will want your bathing suit to enjoy the resort pools and beaches.
Dinners: For evening functions at the resort restaurants men should wear collared shirts and nice shorts. Sundresses, skirts or dress pants are appropriate for the ladies.
Shoes: Pack sturdy walking shoes and comfortable sandals/flip flops.
Extra Space: Please leave a little extra space in your bag just in case you receive some surprise gifts or enjoy some island shopping!
